Welcome our new members

Member CHECK-IN STILL IN EFFECT! Please note the club that you are still an active member as soon as possible! Active member means you check the updates on the club journal whenever they come and look at the member artwork on occasion. You do not have to have drawn for the club contests, really.
Those on the top of the member roster below up to have checked in already, those below this have not. I really need all active members to note me that they are such. NOTE THE CLUB OF YOUR ACTIVE STATUS!

Summer Cosplay Contest

Any kind of cosplay goes for this contest, but the cosplayers have to be your uke or ukes of choice and whatever anime/manga/movie/tv series/or comic books, etc. that you enjoy reading, watching and/or drawing for them to cosplay. The ukes don't have to be doing any scenes with the cosplay of choice, it is not required, but if you'd like to display the uke or ukes involved in the convention activities or the masquerade setting, that's fine. For anyone who does not know, the masquerade portion of a convention is where the cosplayers show off their costumes for an audience, do a skit alone, or with a group on stage. I suppose the prizes vary from convention to convention. Good luck and enjoy yourselves!

Rules and Requirements:

1. There must be cosplaying ukes involved, any setting associated
with anime, sci-fi, comic book, etc. conventions, and it also
includes eateries and the outside areas of where the
conventions are.
2. All themes except violent ones are acceptable.
3. Multiple submissions are accepted.
4. Original Ukes Only
5. Semes are permitted this time , but not as the main character in the picture. They can be used in group or duo
pictures, not by themselves.
6. No pre-contest dated work.

Deadline: 9/01/09

The Ukefest Manga is being shaded, and will probably replace the contests during hiatus periods this year during the busy school/college weeks.

If anyone has any questions, suggestions, or anything at all, please send them in a note to UkeFest. The updates of the manga might be monthly for each chapter release. And yes, both these guys are uke boys

These are not orders or demands, you do not have to do anything for this manga at all if you do not want to. Merely putting it out there that it is allowable for members to be involved with the manga, but its not required. The manga is for all members to enjoy!
